Lightning all day.
SRT-10 in quad cab.. reg cab does me no good..
the Dodge is faster isnt it?
It won't cost a small fortune to modify.. Plus it doesn't take much to make a stock lightning keep up with an SRT-10
who P-chopped the hamann's onto the ram?
Dodge for Looks, Lightning for all of performance.
Dodge is a heavy turd that is a motherfucker to shift
you could upgrade the blower and valve body for less than the price difference on a lightning and SRT10 ram.
damn you are fucking idiot
you know nothing about the trucks do you.
the blower is only good for what, 11's?
one of those vehicles doesn't exist, guess which one it is???
I serioulsy doubt that.
SRT-10 all the way...
lightning- lightness + stock upgradeability > heavy
lightning would be better with a 5/6spd though : /
The SRT-10 is simply better, Ford knew this when they stopped production of the current lightning in order to catch up....
anything is limited dipshit. How fast can you really go with that fucking huge dildo sticking out of the ground of the dodges floor?
I won't agree that the SRT 10 simply better. It's better in some aspects, but not all around. But ya, Ford stop production since they knew they finally got some worthy competition.
I thought they are no longer forged aswell?
i'd take the lightning because for some reason i see it as having more style and history...
i'm talking about a truck?
The SRT-10 to me is on a different level than the lightning, a lot more of a prescense to it..
We have had this discussion before though, so I know where you stand
Havent lost to an SRT-10 yet, even though it has only been 2 races.
I'm almost totally stock except for a valve body.
Off the line i destroy them, then they start to catch up but never pass me.
It takes a very good driver to make all that power stick on the srt-10. Im sure with some Nitrous or other power adders they can kick a lightnings ass, but bang for the buck you cant beat a lightning. It takes very little money for me to get my truck into the low 12's. Anything faster and now youre talking major bucks kinda.
Also, our trannies as far as i know have no issues, they are rated to handle 1000 ft/lbs of torque, same tranny as in the diesel F-250's with the only difference being 2 additional clutch bands for reverse and first gear i believe in the F-250.
And yeah the stock blower is limited, but that is easily taken care of by porting it.
i like the lightning before that body style like the 02's
Lightning > SRT 10
Much cheaper in price, very reliable.
More aftermarket, all the bolton lightning's here run 11's .
I couldn't bring myself to drive a Ford.
