Didn't like the first one. Which is weird, because I was a HUGE fan of Total Annihilation.

Played the demo... it was okay. I didn't like the way you gather resources though... wayyy too dumbed down. Looks very nice on my PC though.

    1) First one wasn't great, had cool graphics and cool concepts like mobile shielding/defense buildings but didn't implement them very well.

    2) Micromanaging heroes = FAIL.

First one was epic. What's wrong with micromanagement?

I heard that supcomm2 is dumbed down quite a bit compared to supcomm1.

Played the demo, they dumbed it down a lot. Will not be purchasing.

I can't stand micromanaging heroes. Some feel it adds strategy, I feel it takes away from other strategy. I love micromanaging economy and individual units, but not heroes.

I didn't know there was going to be a Supreme Commander 2 :eek5: The first one fucking raped my desktop. I wonder how the second one will hold up on my laptop:noes:

Will probably download and play because I get bored with RTS games quickly. Especially ones where games are designed to last for hours and hours. I usually play one skirmish and then I'm done for a few months  I do love RTS though:o

When Supcom came out, my friend and I would play against each other on either a 4 or 8 player map. Made a 2-hour truce of building shit up, no attacking. At the 2 hour mark it was balls out. Our games lasted up to 10 hours. :o
