I enjoyed SupCom 1 a lot...
Didn't like the first one. Which is weird, because I was a HUGE fan of Total Annihilation.
Played the demo... it was okay. I didn't like the way you gather resources though... wayyy too dumbed down. Looks very nice on my PC though.
But StarCraft 2 is imminent
Is it just a big create 10000 units spam fest?
seems too generic and spammish.
1) First one wasn't great, had cool graphics and cool concepts like mobile shielding/defense buildings but didn't implement them very well.
2) Micromanaging heroes = FAIL.
First one was epic. What's wrong with micromanagement?
I heard that supcomm2 is dumbed down quite a bit compared to supcomm1.
Played the demo, they dumbed it down a lot. Will not be purchasing.
I can't stand micromanaging heroes. Some feel it adds strategy, I feel it takes away from other strategy. I love micromanaging economy and individual units, but not heroes.
That shit is annoying
I would but my desktop is broken.
instead of "SOLDIERS, MARCH!"
well, it's not nearly that bad, but i feel very strongly about this
I didn't know there was going to be a Supreme Commander 2 The first one fucking raped my desktop. I wonder how the second one will hold up on my laptop
Will probably download and play because I get bored with RTS games quickly. Especially ones where games are designed to last for hours and hours. I usually play one skirmish and then I'm done for a few months I do love RTS though
When Supcom came out, my friend and I would play against each other on either a 4 or 8 player map. Made a 2-hour truce of building shit up, no attacking. At the 2 hour mark it was balls out. Our games lasted up to 10 hours.
holy shit, 2 hr truces!
our 4 vs 4 games never go over 2 hrs
i think you have a slow machine
