Supplements... i need advice (Whey protein, fish oil, etc)

    Just to give you and idea of what my build is like, right now im 6' 0'' 151lbs. One year ago i was 165lbs with less fat and a lot more muscle, but i had to cut down to 130 lbs for the wrestling season. Wrestled all summer so i couldnt really get bigger. Ive decided that im done cutting weight for wrestling so it's time to get big and strong.

    What do i get and where do i get it from? I remember people always recommending fast400.com or something. I need to know exactly what to get, as in not just "whey protein" but the brand, too. I work out 6 days a week and have about 2 months before the season :o

    Oh and i will be wrestling 145lbs... but thats not even a cut for me :mamoru: Id like to get up to at least 170 before the season. If i get any bigger than that ill say fuck it and go 152, but at 170 i can cut down to 145 without losing a single ounce of muscle, i know because ive been cutting weight for 6 years now :o

    so you only want to gain 25 pounds of muscle in a couple months huh, yeah that's easy no worries there lol

    but stay away from fish oil, it'll give you aids and rape your sister



    i won't buy from bulk nutrition anymore cause they fucked up an order for me and wouldn't fix it


    I just buy ON whey from whoever i find the cheapest

    Oh i know it wont be all muscle, not even close, thats why ill be cutting down to 145, where ill be around ~6% BF.

    And with my work outs, im pretty sure ill gain more muscle than you'd expect.

    you said last year you had more muscle and less fat but you apparently know how to cut weight without loosing an ounce of muscle....doesn't really make sense...

    eat + lift + sleep

    supplement whey if you can't eat enough protein in food

    take multivitamin of course

    a bulk is fun just eat lots and sleep lots and lift lots = gain mass = have fun cutting later to make weight lol


    bulking info is in the stickies if i'm not mistaken

    Doesnt make sense because you're a fucking idiot. I wont lose muscle if i cut down to 145, ill lose all of it if i cut down to 130.

    hmm...bulking to 175 then back down to 145 by the time the season starts...sounds like a recipe for muscle loss to me...

    but what do I know I didn't hold the county record for fastest pin in highschool...

    You would lose a lot of muscle dropping weight that quick. At the same time, I think you will have a hard time finding someone better and more knowledgable at cutting than wrestlers. My senior year I went from 149 to 136 and still ate like shit most of the time.

    I was. It can be misleading. If you are wrestling a chump who is only on the team so they can have a wrestler at that weight, then anyone with any experience could take him down in a matter of seconds. We would always recruit football players so we would gain points at duels in weights that weren't filled. A few of them joined our team ...

    if the guy actually holds a state record for fastest pin that's pretty impressive in my book. I wrestled high school and college and i didn't ever have a record for fastest pin lol

    lol anyone who gets pinned with a head and arm needs to go sit and a corner and cry. At varsity level nobody should be getting pinned with that move.


    For the OP, any kind of whey will do but make sure to not use it as your main source of protein. The other stuff such as the multi and the fish oil are not really necessary but it would be healthy for you if you decide to take it. You could also try creatine to get your weight up.

    If by cutting you mean making weight in an unhealthy way.. yes. If by cutting you mean dieting down while preserving as much muscle mass and strength as possible, then no.

    But then again, at 149 lb's you don't really have much muscle to preserve.. so..

    yea...I was kinda pissed the match was that easy...it was more that I slammed it hard enough to knock the wind out of him and able to pin him before he recovered...

    the funny thing is when it comes to the record books it still counts as a pin and it doesn't really matter how it happened...

    this was in the 140 class btw
