MMA Supplements before or after training

    Do you guys take any supplements before or after you train. I know in bodybuilding its good to take certain supplements right before work outs and after and what not.

    Is there anything that would be helpful while grappling or just training in general?

    If you do cardio training chop up some garlic and blend it into a juice using whatever juices you already drink, like tomato, and down that before working out.
    If you do strength conditioning eat or drink stuff high in protein after a workout.

    I usually down a protein shake 30 min after working out, whether it's lifting or MT. Other than my daily vitamins I don't do shit.

    Before a workout I drink that xyience pre workout drink, gives me more energy/stamina during class, it isn't loaded with caffeine so i can still sleep at night.

    then right after class while im still there ill have a recovery drink, then a protein drink when i get home

    then a couple hours later before bed another protein drink with glucosamine powder and bone joint formula pill.

    Multi Vitamin
    Potassium in any form (pill or bananas)
    No Protein shakes cause I'm going to blow when I get a knee on my belly

    Post:
    Antioxidants
    Protein Shake
    More potassium for my crampy ass

    i take flintstones gummy vitamins in the morning cause they taste good

    drink scivation xtend (BCAAs) before/during/after work outs

    that's about it.

    I make a fermented concoction from malted barley, hop flowers, and yeast and usually have a glass or 2 of it after training.
