I would do 0-100mph, but I have a 2800 stall and my speedo won't work. The transmission has an input shaft speed sensor and it won't read correctly when it stalls up. So, if I floor it from a stop it won't start reading the vehicles speed until you lay off the throttle. Pretty shitty, but this is why I do low speed runs.

Also, the vehicle is slower from a roll than it is from a dig.

Mid to low 12s as it sits. With long tube headers, new intake, efans, and a better tune it should be good for 11s. :)

That is also with a 5000lb+ race weight.

Nope. I'm going to hold off until next spring and get either a Larson or a Sea Ray. Not quite sure yet.... especially since the summer is almost over.

You'd be better off trading it in for an SS. You'd probably gain a full second by throwing a blower on the 4.2L. Why not pick up an SS and run 3-4 seconds faster?

I raced a new one of those yesterday. Took until the middle of third until I started putting distance on him. We were both impressed, exchanged compliments. It was 97-degrees out and I had my a/c on... but so did he.

Yea, that is the goal, but once you hit low 12s, why not hit the 11s. :o

What car do you drive? They typically fall on their face at 80-90mph. It's just the weight and aerodynamics suck at that speed. It takes a lot of power to overcome those obstacles.

The second time around was a piece of cake. It took about 9 hours total, and that included lots of beer and smoke breaks.

First time it took 25 hours start to finish. Cutting the stock bumper supports, mounting the cooler, mounting the intercooler pump, machining the alternator brackets, etc.

It made it easier to transfer of the sensor housings before I installed the new one. They are definately the best plug and play forced induction kit out there.
