Very nice. Any idea what the total cost of that project was?

customer cars are built to order, with the mods that the customer wants, but it really depends on how much the donor car is, if the customer has the motor or not, little details like that. minimum, around 12-13k, max so far has peaked around 36k, but damn that car was amazing.

  16. All these cars with unnatural engine swaps just make me puke. It's not american muscle and it's not an import now. Why not tune the rotary engine in the RX7 or just buy an LS1 powered car and do a hella weight reduction? I'm sure all the importers would hate it because you swapped out a good 13B for an LS1. And all the muscle guys would hate it because you put an LS1 in an import. It reminds me of that 4 Rotor BMW I saw in some Ausie magazine. Why would anyone put a mazda rotary in a Beamer I asked myself. If you wanted to get more power out of that RX7, you could have swapped in a bigger turbo and some fuel components... a little tuning and you could have had well over 500hp. Probably for less than all the trouble the LS1 swap.
