Ok, this is a super rough edit from today. I just applied a Dave Hill preset that I made to the first image that I shot. No time to sort through them. I've shoot 1200 images in the past two days - and the deadline for them to be due is Tuesday morning. :run:

What do you think? I know there are dust spots, fringing, and the kid on the right's eyes are close. But for the overall feel of the picture, what do you think? Its for a HS sports program.

I like the look andw hat you are going for.. but they are too 'glowy'.. maybe do some burning behind them, or turn down whatever effect you used to make them pop in the first place.

that's the fringing i was referring to. :mamoru:

This was just a proof to give to the people I'm doing the shots for.

Yeah, it's pretty good. A little too trendy for my taste but I'm sure they'll love it. I would add just a hint of contrast though. set-up?

Oh, and the "pop" is most likely fill flash. Here's the Original straight outta camera:

They want it to be trendy. I don't like Dave Hill style stuff - this is the first that I've done.

Set up? Lol. - Bare 550ex on 1/4th power fired slight camera right via Ebay Remotes. :run:

    Will do tomorrow or sunday.

Customer wanted Dave Hill style :dunno:

They loved the proof, so I guess it stays.

Its about the customer, not the photographer.

I like the edited one.. I just think it would look good if you darkened up the bleachers in that version a little bit.

    IN for the preset.

The fringing bothers me, otherwise it's pretty cool.

I figured it out - its the "recovery" slider. I jacked it up all the way. :mamoru:

You offer them for $20 and a reach around.

    In for presets as well.
