Man, i'm fuckin' STOKED right now! I just finished ordering a 5D mark II. I've been wavering on getting one for almost a year now. I wasn't even really expecting to get one right now. Got an amazing deal on it though, so i just couldn't let myself pass it up.

can't freakin wait!!!:) :wtc: :eek3: :hsugh:  :naughty:  :wiggle: :hs:   :x: :wavey: :noes: ;) :mamoru: :fawk: :p :hsd: :bigthumb:

gonna finally be a huge step up from my trusty old 10D!

not the best right now. Just have a 17-40, 28-135, and a broken 50 :o. Definitely planning to flip all my lenses and maybe even the 10D and gonna pick up a 24-70 and eventually a 70-200 f2.8 IS.

Congrats! 24-70 and 70-200 are great lenses and will be perfect with that.

I've had mine for I think exactly 11 months now. Just in time for xmas last year.

Better perspective and DOF, cleaner noise at high ISO, I shoot wide angle quite a bit.

Well, my dad is retired military, so i ordered it from the Exchange website. Exchange is the military department store. They had it for $2549. Then they had a 20% off coupon (up to $500), so that brought it down to $2049. Then i applied for the Exchange credit card which when you sign up gives you 10% off your first day of use. So that brings it down to $1849. And another benefit of the Exchange is there is no sales tax, and being over $49 i got free shipping. So in the end, $1849 shipped

    nice :big grin:

i bought my 7D because i got a deal on it too; with coupons and gift cards i got from my housewarming :p I switched from nikon so i got the 7D kit at best buy with a 12% off coupon, and about $250 in gift cards from my housewarming plus another $40 in rewardzone points :hs: i think i got it for about $1400 OTD. used my bbuy credit card for 18 months no interest -- sold off my nikon stuff and my Canon XL1 and paid it off the next week.

....Then i kinda dipped into my savings a bit for my 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 IS :hs:

oh shit. was it an online coupon or printed? I think I found one. Might go ahead and pick up a 7D doing the same thing.
