I doubt it will hurt it, but how are you going to read anything with direct sunlight on it?

I seem to have the brightest LCD on the face of mother fucking Earth. It is ungodly bright and I am seriously afraid of loosing a lil bit of eyesite throuhg continuous daily use because of it.

    Dell W2600, 26" monitor/TV

    sunlight probably wont hurt it.

what you got to be careful of is the HEAT from the sun. if you let it bake for hours through the window then you might start ruining it, but the light itself shouldn't harm it.

i'm not sure if that's the same as the 2005 fps but mine can EASILY light up my room at night.. it hurts my eyes when I have the brightness at 0 even.
