I'm getting a Sun dual core Opteron 1000 server. 1GB RAM, two 250GB disks running ZFS mirroring, DVD-ROM drive and Solaris 10. Total price: $1730 + S&H.

3 year hardware warranty. Beat that with a stick.

Will be setting up a standard image for use in machines with our application on them going to customers. All administration will be through phpMyAdmin and Webmin, so as to make this system attractive to Windows oriented places who lack the Unix experience to administer a Solaris machine.

    What is ZFS?

Does the server have room for a second dual-core chip, in case you need the extra power later on?

Is there a round, cylindrical opening to allow the user to interface with the "Sexual" service?

The 2200 has an extra socket. That option costs you about $300? I don't need it.

There is an optional fleshlight at www.sunserverssuckyfucky.com but the web page is down right now.
