    I got me a Sun coming. I am excited. Its a dual core opteron with a gig of ram, 2 x 250G SATA drives, a full ILOM card, and a DVD-ROM. $1855 + S&H.

Gonna order a regular X2100 for a convention raffle. The base model is only $745. Cheapest Opterons around. This one I'm gonna try to order from a reseller and see if its cheaper. I hear it is.

I am excited. I like ZFS. It is neat. I look forward to monkeying.

    Planning on Running Solaris 10?

The whole new virtualization inside of it is really some hot stuff. We are going to start looking into building some staging/QA machines with it.. Should be cool stuff.

We'll be running our app/mysql in a zone, yes. I dunno if we'll separate the app from mysql in distinct zones. Might play with different configurations. But yes, its great. Zones rule. We have root in our zone on a colo. Its sweet.
