Can you transfer your characters from Suikoden I & II like you could from Suikoden I to Suikoden II? I guess not, given that its on a different system, but what if you played both on the PS2?

You still can load your data from at the beginning of the game, but I heard you had to be at the last save point in Suikoden II with all the characters to take any effect. It's also only supposed to open some act in a play and not secret characters or anything important.

It's a pretty good game, the only gripe I have is that since you have to play through all the scenarios with all the characters, there's a lot of going through the same dungeons multiple times.

I've been playing Suikoden III since it came out, trying to recruit all 108 characters and do everything possible, its a great game. I really liked the first 2 and now that this one has nice 3D envirnoments, its really sets it off. I'm on the 2nd to last chapter now with all 3 characters, including the side story for Thomas.

Supposedly there are hidden POVs in the game, including the Masked Bishop (whose identity is revealed later in the game)
