They work fine and all, but when I change a song my subs make a 'popping' noise. What could cause that? Bad ground?

I doubt it is a grounding problem if it happens when you change songs and not sources. Also, ground problems usually manifest themselves in humming. Are you playing songs on your computer? If so, it's possible your sound card is the problem or the software.

something could be on its way out.. try swapping out another source and see if you have the same problem.
