So fucking loud. The bass is so overly louder than the Infiniti speakers its not even funny, I wonder what I can do to equalize it and make it sound nice. They are soo fucking loud.

    3: Enjoy

edit: are the speakers infinity kappa or reference series?

You did buy Kicker... the whole point of kicker is to be loud as hell. Not to mention you went with two of them AND put them in a vented enclosure. Turn down your gains.

I think most people buying car audio are buying to impress. And they feel the best way to do that is to bump, and bump hard... i.e. kicker.

remember, the gain knob isn't a volume knob!! tehehe use your deck to adjust the 'loudness' of your subs.

No, but it doesn't hurt anything to adjust them lower than the proper position. Especially since most sub controls I've dealt with don't have a wide range of adjustment. It's either boost, a little attenuation, or infinite attenuation, no middle ground.

it's funny how big they are outside of their own neighborhood... we dropped the line awhile back, while credence was still making their woofers. they have this tent sale each year of refurbed products, that ruined sales in this market for those who sold kicker. it's funny how many people think that it's actually made in stillwater ok., or even made in the us for that matter... though i have heard that since they moved their subs to china they'd had a lower failure rate.

Wierd, my subs DO NOT work anymore. I had them installed for 2 days then one day, the subs just quit hitting. A couple minutes later they started hitting again but you couldn't turn them over 13 volume or they would quit hitting. Now, the subs won't hit at all. What the hell.

Sounds like your amp may have been clipping. Also you need to amplify your speakers and get some good components, Ie NOT Kickers.
