On this amp can I bridge 2 4ohm speakers? Right now I have it setup with the subs hooked up as left and right, but would like to get some more kick out of them.

The subs in question are some sony explodes 12", dont know the model # off hand. Would like to get away from the sony's and go with something better to go in a sealed box, any ideas? I dont really need earth shattering bass, just something that sounds good and has some punch to them.

not unless the subs are dual voice coil. your amp is only 4 ohm stable in mono configuration.

what are the vc's on your subs? If the amp is stable at 4ohms bridged you have to match the coils to the impedence of the amp.

dual 4 ohm, series voice coils to 8 ohms, parallel subs to amp at 4 ohms
