I need a sub that is either 10" or 8" that will work in 0.67 cu. ft. and has a maximum mounting depth of 4.5"

Will be powered by a JL e1200 monoblock. The JL 10W1-4 is perfect, but the only local carrier of JL is out of stock, and says they are backordered. Does anyone have any recommended replacements that meet my criteria? Or know of an online shop where I can purchase a 10W1-4? I can't seem to find them.

well, i don't know the current model #, but the diamond tm3's is something that we used a bit in shallow mount apps. sounded decent and DVC

can you just not post in my threads... you just don't know what you're talking about.... A basslink doesn't meet ANY of my requirements.

I can get one from the shop near me for a little lower than the MSRP, and ship it to you if you can't find one.

The W1 was discontinued years ago. There is a W1v2 out now.

They havent updated yet. They are on the news page though. And considering I saw them back in January :hsugh:, yes there is a W1v2.

I figured thats what you meant, but ledzep missed the press release.

4.5" shucks. The Peerless XLS10" can go in a 0.4ft³ sealed enclosure, but the mounting depth is 4 7/8" :wtc:

That sub does meet the required mounting depth, but it doesn't really sound good until you put it in a sealed box thats might be around 2ft³. Thats one of the reasons why I sold it.

Unless they've changed it since I had it in 2004 :hs:
