I haven't been grappling for very long/competitively, so me submitting someone is usually rare. I usually work on position and defense when sparring.

I got 2 subs tonight. First was a head and arm choke from side control.

Second is what I have a question on. I got a different guy in a Kimura while he was in my gaurd (I was on my back, and "reached over" his shoulder to grab his/my wrist). Is there a special name for this move? Or just "Kimura from Gaurd"?

We've never really drilled it from gaurd (that I have been in class for anyways). Most of the submission drills I've actually been in class for have been from side control.

I was in mount yesterday, and moved from mount to sidecontrol, because I don't have any strong subs from mount. :hs:
