I haven't the foggiest what to tell him, what would an AR spec'd to Sub MOA involve?
you'd probably be looking at a varmint model or something similar
i could shoot sub MOA groups with my RRA 24" varminter
my 16" coyote rifle shot sub moa.
You can get a varmint model from just about every manufacturere now and under a grand
Basically spec a non-chrome lined barrel from a reputable manufacturer and a free float fore-end and you'd be in pretty good shape from an accuracy standpoint.
About 900-1000 for a Bushmaster Varmint Special. I've seen 'em new for 879
alot of choices realy.the possibilities are pretty endless
decent match ammo of course.
aslong as the person behind the trigger is able to do it
I got the WOA Varmint upper, havent had a chance to shoot it yet, still waiting on the damn receiver, but it looks/feels excellent, should have no problem busting moa with match ammo $610 for the upper
Adco has a varmint rig for like 575 iirc
I always wondered if getting a RRA AR-10 Varminter in .308 would be a good investment or if I should go with a DSA SA58 with a bull barrel.
Then again I think it'll be about a decade or so until I'll consider dropping more than $1k on a single firearm.
i just did that
handload your ammo and dont shoot surplis
As much as I love FALs, they are not the platform to choose if you're looking to be sub-MOA.
buy the Oly K16
shoots inch groups easy at 100yds
fuck spending twice as much for a gun of the same quality just so you get a "name"
