I'm familiar with the Sony's ($1699 each) and the lower end ones ($799 each) but not really any other brand.

Is $799 the cheapest i'm looking at to print 4x6's at a decent speed (less than 20-30 seconds)?

Also, does anyone know of any "photobooth" software that will take 4 photos and print it on a 4x6?

    the paper's what's expensive, right?

i had one a long time ago, but it was one of the cheap canon selphy-types that only prints 4x6"

i remember a long time ago (olympus?) made some larger dye-subs that can print 8x10's for not too much (maybe around $1000)

The paper is still expensive, but the initial investment of the printer itself is what is hurting my options right now.

It has to do 4x6's though...

    1. No ink
    2. Last longer
    3. Print faster

    (besides #1, on average)
