unless you're fbi, you're not professional enough to handle a glock foty

subcompacts are easier to hide and harder to shoot. How much work are you willing to put into concealment and how good of a shot are you? ;)

so your sayin fuck it. buy the 9.. if its just a cost of ammo thing, i can afford the .40. but i do like the 9. i'm all confuseded. when it gets down to it. i'm just shootin holes in a cardboard target. so the 9 will suffice. but i really like the .40

If other calibers are an option then I'd get the 26. A subcompact 9mm is far less unpleasant to me than the .40 plus is still quite concealable. The .40 is do-able but I just don't think its as fun to shoot as in 9mm. If its just for range use get a full size .40

I have big hands and find my Glock 17 to be just the right size. I imagine I could shoot the next size down without trouble in 9mm, but any smaller would probably leave me gripping the handgrip with one-and-a-half fingers. Why there's a market for subcompact 357sig and 10mm is not so clear to me, but maybe other people don't have trouble with it if they have smaller hands. They sound like they're almost as much fun to shoot as "airweight" 357 snubbies.

If only your coach had put you in the game back in high school... you'd be able to handle .40.

    What a shame.

just purchased the forty. i went back and forth, i think the sales guy was gettin pissed at me. but they had an indoor range, so i just shot the 9mm and the .40 back to back. and i liked the forty best. plus they had a sale on .40 ammo 9.99 box of 50 ftmfw!

    .40 ammo for $9.99 for a box of 50?
That's $20 for 100. Wal-Mart has WWB 100rnds in .40 going for $19.96, thats hardly a sale you got there.
