Ok when I started I was ~13%bf, I've been cutting and working out 5-7 days a week, cardio every day since 4-19-08...in 2 months to the day almost I'm at 10-10.5%bf.

I know my biggest problem is that I look at myself in the mirror everyday, and now I feel like I'm not losing anymore bf. Then when I think about it, I don't think people can normally get sub 10%bf in less than 3 months...

Am I just overthinking things and getting upset for no reason...or should I diet harder?

I am probably doing fine just overreacting to my results... I am very happy with my body, but I set a goal and I'm not there yet

edit: so what do you F&N guys think? Is it just going to take more time cutting to get to sub 10's?

Obv going to take more time since you're not there, but do you feel like you lost too much muscle doing it? Post a pic.

FWIW it took me 5 months to go from 14.2% to 10.4%.

Going from 13-10% or even 8% in 3 months is more than doable.

I went from 10% to 7% in less time than it took me to go from 14% to 10%.

Only took me 3 months to do that, weird when it's supposed to be harder to cut up when you get to lower bf.

So do you guys that are cutting and on strict diets include cardio in your work outs or just lifting?

So far I've been doing just lifting and maybe some cardio on my days off, but progress is slow. I'd say i'm probably in the 13% range right now, if I flex my top 4 abs are starting to become visible.

    Strict diets? Cardio? :ugh:

That does make sense now that you mention it.

    How is it for you?

Actually I can't even ask you because you don't know what it's like to be above 6%. :mamoru:

I've been working on this the past 2-3 months as well. When I really truly started I was at 13%. I have definately leaned out, however my wieght isnt going down dramatically. I have gotten stronger and put on some size while leaning out and I think its mentally throwing me off on the scale.

I want to get down to 190 and now matter how much I work I can't get there. My bf is going down, but the number on the scale is staying the same. Maybe same for you?

Yea it is the same for me. I started at 171, and I've lost a considerable amount of bf and right now I'm at 169 and I am way stronger...yeah i know what you mean. I'm a lot leaner but my weight hasn't decreased a bunch, for that i am really thankful

Any facts behind this, or is it just your schedule? This could be something I could use with my schedule...
