I will say this...that has to be the best done up that model eclipse I have ever seen. You just need to turbo it now and actually do motor work. But for looks that is the cleanest one of those I have ever seen. And I don't like those model cars.

Looks good...only thing I would do is take off the stickers on your quarter panel windows, get a smaller exhaust, and get rid of the "road race" licence plate frame.

    Other than that, very clean!

As a 2G Eclipse owner, I find the 3G to be something of a waste of time, but yours is nicely done. You make mention of your JIC suspension, but what about the sick Stoptechs not-so-subtely peeking out behind those rims?

What's the point of those bad ass brakes on that slow ass car? Or do you have future engine mods????

    Ha, whats up bro. :wavey:

    Thanks guys. :bigthumb:

 Sorry, I didn't mean to put that there.

Thanks guys. :bigthumb: That was my main goal with this car. I know the Eclipse (especially the 3rd gen) doesn't get a lot of respect, and I'll be the first to admit, it's certainly not the fastest thing on wheels. There are times when I said to myself "Should have got a Z" or something similar. But I wanted to make a decent car out of something no one really gives a chance. :)

Thank you. Yeah, The Apex'i sticker will go soon. The exhaust is actually one of my favorite mods. It has a great tone to it. It doesn't drone at lower RPM's, and it doesn't produce that shitty ricer rasp or buzz at higher RPM's. It gives it a smooth tone without being ungodly loud either. Apex'i doesnt actually make a cat-back for this gen Eclipse but the 2nd Gen GST exhausts virtually bolt up to the 3G, so I took advantage of it and it sounds great on the V6. The license plate frame actually has padding between it and the plate, which helps keep the rattle down from my subs. It actually serves a purpose.

You're right. My car is incapable of breaking 50mph on the track. :ugh2:

I believe they do. :) They are generic wheels, nothing particularly special, but they look nice and they are lightweight (18.6lbs @ 18x8). They are Tenzo DC5 V2. Check www.wheelsnext.com

Oh man, I cant believe I left those out. :eek4: Just had to go edit the list. They were my last addition to the car before these pictures too.

As far as the engine mods are concerned. I actually have a fully turbo prepped/built 6G72 in storage.

    8:8:1 CP Pistons
    040 Overbored Cylinders
    Federal Speedpro Piston Rings
    Pauter Cromemoly Steel Rods
    ARP Rod Fasteners
    Clevite 77 Tri-Metal Bearings
    Fully Balanced Crank
    3 Angle Valve Job
    Glassbeaded Cylider Heads
    Vortec Style Port
    RPW Springs & Retainers
RPW Stage 3 280º Chromemoly Camshafts
    Fidanza Cam Gears

I've had the ambition to drop it in for quite some time, but I'm the kind of person who doesn't want to half ass the project. I need the complete custom turbo components, fuel, flywheel, clutch, custom piping, gauges, etc, all together. It's capable of running N/A, but I feel that would be a waste and there is no need to put premature wear and tear on it.

sounds wicked... you are going to hate traction though. :mamoru:

is it possible to do an awd drivetrain swap or are is the car entirely different from DSMs?

if not, you'll love yourself an LSD and some sticky drag radials... maybe some big sticky gumball slicks for kill mode
