First I apologize for the Myspace style photo but its a good closeup of my hair.

Here is a picture from back in December ... I have lost 15 more lbs since then and was thinking about changing up my hair. It has been like this or shaved for ages. I woke up toady and thought I would bleach and shave it .....but bleached hair doesnt seem in style ???

Cliffs: Hair is slightly longer than this... recommend new style or should I trim or shave it?

Get out while you can. This place will eat you alive based on that picture alone.

I don't really know what look you're going for, but I think short, wet, gelled, spiked hair looks terrible on anybody

i think the current hairstyle suits you decently
but instead of Dep hairgel (et al), which gives you that wet/small spikes allover look,
maybe try some forming cream/styling wax to get more of a matte sheen and chunkier style

any maybe grow the hair out more, u have a pretty narrow face, so most hairstyles should look good

get rid of the gel, use a paste or wax and try stuff out with that. try a 'messy' look and see if it works for you

another one on the stubble thing, or maybe a full beard?

try black/organic jewelery in your septum, looks a bit nicer than silver stuff. try different shapes too, something squarer and wider might look better.

it's all about the aesthetics, especially with facial stuff.

Some good reccomendations so far...I appreciate them.

Good idea for the jewerly... I lose it during the week as I am a suit and tie guy. Corporate america.

Stubble - I wasnt sure it would look good since Im such a white/ginger guy :(

Im definitely gonna see what changing up my hair product could do.

    agreed agreed agreed

Congrats on the weight loss first off.

Don't bleach, change your hair product- for specifics, most of these guys can help you out on brands etc, as well as the threads we already have on the topic.

If your hair is longer, a paste could definitely achieve a successful messed-up look. I'm curious to see the results.
