I know most everyone here probably has their daily go around of their forums they frequent classified section. And I know for the most part, most forums frown upon thread crapping, but hot dam do I get tempted to do so sometimes.

Here are a few that I've remembered in the past few weeks that just cracks me up. What are these people thinking/smoking?

    Example 1:
    WTT Raven Arms .25
No cash offer needed/wanted, looking to trade for:
    1911 .22 conversion kit
    AK .22 conversion kit
    Glock .22 conversion kit
Front opening automatic knife(of good quality)
XD 40 to 9mm conversion barrel
    AR parts
    1911 6in slide .45 acp

dude the gun is all of $60 BRAND NEW, and this is used! What the hell are you smoking!

    WTT S&W Sigma 9mm
Brand new, never shot in excellent condition with 5 magazines. Looking for a Glock 9mm with the same amount of mags and MUST be in EXCELLENT condition as well. Straight trade.

WTH! Who the hell would trade a glock for a Sigma, let alone an EXCELLENT condition glock.

WTT MiltSparks holster, for a Dillon 550 press.

:hsugh: Okay, you want to trade a $130-150 holster (at the most) for a $400 press. :ugh:

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

What are these people thinking? Funny enough, there are tons of people actually willing to trade these things. :mamoru: Do they think they are the only ones that actually know the going rate for their goods?

That might be workable, say a firing pin and a2 grip, or perhaps a magazine and a roll pin

People actually go for things like that? What sites are those people on?

Heck, with people like that I might pick up some junk at the next fun show.

I'd imagine that these are the same dumbasses you see spamming your inbox whenever you put something up for sale.

I really should save some of the lowball offers and shit that I've gotten. My favorites are the ones that open with a paragraph about some horrific life tragedy that's happened to person, which inevitably ends with them having no money to spend. Then they offer you 1/3 of whatever your shit is worth, and ask you to please find it in your heart to accomindate them. I mean seriously, if your house just burned down killing your entire family, and testicular cancer has left you unable to work, why the fuck do you need a $1500 AR?

    Fuckers.....

Yessss, I know exactly what you mean. I even put on my ads sometimes, "don't waste my time with sob stories or low ball offers" and I get the life story anyhow.

I've been having fun with them lately and what I do is keep a copy of their email, and start signing their email up for gay porn newsletters. I keep their emails on file, and any day I have a bad day, I go to my little list and sign them up for more meaningless, random shit, I get a good laugh and I feel better again.

    lol

Meh, modern spam filters will block 99% of that stuff out.

Really you just gotta ignore those idiots. Their WTT ads will get lost on the second and third pages, and if you delete their e-mails they probably won't try writing you again. I'm selling a laptop right now and I'm kinda going through the same thing. I've had people offer me worthless junk as a trade, or less than half of what I'm selling it for.

Bumping this back to the top, because I've been getting all kinds of stupid shit here in the last couple days.

This one just came to me, and had me laughing my ass off.

And the ultra rare "TeK-9" in question:

Keep in mind, the rifle he's wanting has a $1k asking price on it.

Probably should just buy it outright, and roll up to WA to shoot an IDPA match with AB. Or maybe Yar would be more appropriate, since you do live in Long Beach. LBC represent!

    shoots great, doesn't jam much.

A ringing endorsement of its exceptional qualities!

  15. I do believe that as long as you had a magazine that wasn't too long the Tec-9 would actually be legal in the USPSA Open division.

yeah but you would get your clock cleaned by real open guns. There were these swat guys who ran a stage with their mp-5's on select fire. The guys with real open guns still cleaned their clocks. Untill you get enough 35 yard or even 50 yard shots out there a pistol is still faster for games.

Granted in a real shootout I want the MP5

  17. Of course, I just think it would be funny to see someone show up with one.

"Gas prices are high now" He says.
