WEB stupid question v.web2.0help+css

    How can I get a search field or any text field to appear like this

    http://dictionary.reference.com/

    or at least similar to the one on the website. can edit afterwards. Anyone have a tutorial. Been searching on google and will continue

    are you talking about how it's a little bit bigger than a regular text field? if that's the case, input elements are effected by css just like all the others so you can change it's height, font-size, so forth....

    Talking about the input field and its elements. Brand new to css and have no idea how to do this

    in your CSS have something like

    .search (
    background-color: #FFF;
    color: #000;
    height: 25px;
    width: 400px;
    border: 1px #CCC;
    }

    then for the box in your HTML put <input type="text" class="search">
