ive decided to go back to muay thai/bjj now that ive acquired some extra cash and ive bulked up a bit.

i know that max effort lifts are pretty damn irrelevant to fighting ability, but i was wondering what peoples following lifts are:

    squat
    bench
    deadlift
    clean

im asking this just out of curiousity, and i also dont want my lifts to go down too much. (for a reason i cant defend really)

    me currently:

    6'3'' 200lb
s:315x5 (dont max on squats anymore)
    b:245x1
d:405x1 (last month, now have an injury)
    c:225x1

    im 5'7" 157 lbs
    s: 275 for 5 reps
    b: 275 for 1 rep
d: haven't done this in a while but was around 375 for 1
clean/jerk: in high school I did sets of these on around 135-155 and haven't done them with a barbell since (only dumbell snatches)

    6'3 148kg (320ish lbs)

    S: 250kg (550ish lbs)
    B: 190kg (420ish lbs)
    D: 260kg (565ish lbs)

Ive just started on the weights again and watching the diet want to get to about 115-120kg I expect the PBs on the weights to improve too.

I suspect I might be the biggest member here also.

i was doing strength training but in terms of striking I didn't like how it effected my performance. If I had the time/energy to spend an extra few hours per week doing more bagwork on top of what I already do, I'd keep lifting because I think the extra training would help counteract some of those negetive effects (personally it made me feel slower and less accurate).

I still work out but I don't do 5x5 or anything for the above reason and also because I don't have any of the necessary equipment/gym access anymore.

I can tell you however that if you want to keep your lifts the same or keep them going up, you may get really tired from MT/BJJ training, and subsequently not be able to maximize your gains.

anyways, before i stopped training (only did for 4 months this year) my max's were:
    B: 225
    S: 305
    DL: 315

weak I know but I got into it after having lost lots of muscle from not eating actual food for 2.5 months. 6'4" this year I've gone from 155 (emaciated from jaw wired shut) to 190 (now... gained fat, but also muscle)

maybe i should try to hit the gym once in a while to work off some of this flab.

    I'm 6'4 225 lbs...
I used to be able to bench 350lbs, but doubt I can get anywhere close to that any more. I did do 225lbs 8+ times (needed slight help on 9th and 10th) at the gym this week, but I am not sure what that translates to in max.... I was surprised since I haven't done bench in 1.5 years (been working out at home on my bowflex)....

My knees are too jacked up to go heavy on any of the other stuff you mentioned...

I've never seen what my 1RM was but....

    6'1'' 250lb
    s:275x5
    b:270x3
    d:275x5

(my dead/squat are lacking compared to my bench because I've been recovering from a heirneated disc)

Thought I'd bump this thread because I set my squat PR last night :hsd:

but damn, benching 320...i'm 5'7 and used to bench 250. I've never seen anyone my height going to 300's.

I really miss lifting, but Muay Thai and grappling always takes it out of me

The 320 is my deadlift, my max bench is 250 :o I don't lift like I did a year ago. The kickboxing/boxing kills me too.
