according to philadelphia laws any weapon that fires projectiles of any sort is prohibited from sale, transport, and posession in philadelphia. Now here's the problem: the only decent archery range for about 100 miles is smack down in the middle of northeast philly. About a block away from a police station. About 30 minutes through philly from my house.
how the hell am i supposed to get my bow there?

Pennsylvania is a shall-issue state. CCW permits are easy to get there. Check your laws again.

there is no such thing as a permit for a bow in PA, also no need for permit on longarms (shotguns, rifles, etc).
but you can't drive around with them in philly. which makes it strange
if you have a CC card you can carry a pistol. but that doesn't have anything to do with bow.
    also, i can't get a cc card since i'm not 21.

I love florida we have "preemption" stating that no city, county or other government can supercede or restrict weapons usage as per our stat statutes

I am sure a bow wont be a problem especially if it is in your trunk or otherwise not immediatley accessable. It is an ungainley weapon and not easily brought to bear on a target. Call your district attorney's office and ask.
