Insurance is going to give me about 290 for my stolen deck. That includes installation.

What would you guys recommend for this pricerange for a new one? I'll probably be putting in some extra cash too. Not more then 25 or so though.

    Thanks

Do you want it to be able to play MP3's?

That would be nice, but not a must. My friend has a sony mp3 player that cost him about 250 or so I think. Its pretty nice. I kind of like pioneer though. Thats what I had before.

Sounddomain has the Pioneer 7400mp on sale for $229.95 or I have seen the Alpine 7995 for around $350

I'm liking the pioneers, sony has cheaper one's that play mp3's if your looking for that, but otherwise I'd grab an upper level pioneer for that kinda cash.

I'm leaning toward the pioneer. They seem to have the best value. My freind has one of the sony mp3's in his truck. Its ok, but....not really.

What kind of features are you looking for in it?

Do you have external amps that you are hooking up, or plan on hooking up?

Alpine's, Pioneer's, and Panasonics are all generally pretty good bets. I would try to stay away from Sony though, at least the xplod stuff.

I'm going with the 7400. And nope, im not running through amps or anything like that. Thats seems to be a really badass price from soundsdomain.com, so im going to order from there and try to install it myself. All I need is the harness correct?

    Thanks for the help fellas!
