Does the STS come in 6-speed? I like the look of the STS better than the CTS, but the CTS is obviously gonna be the more 'fun-to-drive' car. Depends on what you're looking for. On second thought, just wait for the new CTS-v :big grin:

I've seen a few STS-Vs around town lately, I think they had some sweet rebates on them. The STS has the 6-speed auto, not the manual.

Used STS-Vs are ridiculously cheap with just a few thousand miles on them and rare.

I think I would rather have one over the CTS-V as they don't suffer from wheel hop. The bad part is they are automatic only and there's no mod potential for the Northstar that I'm aware of.

It's got 470hp stock. Is it possible to tune them?

What kind of gains did those yield? What's been done to the Northstar and blown Northstar?

I respect the 1st STS-V a shit load. It has a good chunk of ponies less than the M5, but it's cheaper and probably comfier.

yeah because the bmw was in my list of cars in this thread faggot....how many times do we have to tell you to get the fuck out. I'd rather just pull the pin on a grenade, stick it in my pants and go slam dancing then buy a used bmw

I really like the STS-V. As far as mods go, I don't even know if they make a pulley kit yet, but a good tune will wake it up a bit.

having driven an LS6 CTS-V and Northstar STS-V, I'd choose the STS-V simply because its got a great deal of power and its just more roomy... its not really designed to be the sports sedan that the CTS is, but its just so quiet and easy to drive... in the used car market, the STS-V gets no love, so they're a helluva lot cheaper to get your hands on than the CTS-V.

the only two colors I've seen in person are the black and dark gray metallic... and both of those looked awesome, even when sitting still.
