Most UFC's are 7/10.
i thought all fights were awesome
probably because they put people in there that they knew were going to slug it out but still, a good show
Good fights, good commentary, good production, decent walkouts.
Better than any UFC in recent memory.
Strikeforce was pretty meh.
WEC is where it's at.
Once again Miletich > Your life.
strike force was off the chain
who were the commentators anyway? i only caught the main event on stream, and i haven't had a chance to watch the entire event i DL'd
Gus Johnson, Mauro, Pat Melitch.
was Pat a good commentator? besides Mauro, i couldn't tell who was who
He wasn't bad. He was non biased and had a lot of good insight on what each fighter should be doing.
The guys on the UG seemed to like him alot.
I really enjoyed him. Knowledgeable about everything, didn't show bias and respectful towards other coaches. He was a realist about stuff when most guys are just going for the dramatic effect. He spoke just enough. Not too much/little. Was surprised/impressed.
you didn't even watch it fagit
I couldn't believe it was him.
They said Pat and I kept going through my head all of the people in MMA named Pat and who it could be. I was thinking "There is noway Strikeforce brought in Melitch for this". Sure enough it was him.
I was pleasantly surprised like the rest.
The only think about Pat that made little sense is those pre-fight animations showing what fighters "needed to do to win", but seeings as how they were probably made just to give newbs an intro into how basic mma moves work... I guess it's not a big deal.
i've been thoroughly entertained by this string of MMA Cards lately....i really want to see UFC97, but i guess that's just me.
Strike Force kicked ass. The only meh fight was Mrs. Cyborg's 1 sided beat down of some under-sized over-matched Japanese chick. Otherwise, I enjoyed the fights from top to bottom more than any UFC event in recent memory.
WEC also always delivers.
