Stretching.

    I was just wondering if anyone has a link to stretching routine I could do. Possibly something like yoga?

    I'm just looking for a daily routine I could do in the morning or evening which would improve my flexibility.

    Any specifics in there? Im looking for a set routine, which I can make part of my routine. Something I would do every morning when I wake up sort of thing.

    Well, like I said, Im looking for a full body routine. I want something which will hit every muscle in my body, I'm planning on putting aside about an hour a day just to stretching.

    yeah, because stretching is so pointless

    I'm doing about 30-45 minutes of total stretching nowadays too. I'm sick of injuries and inflexibility.

    about 10-15 mins of stretching before lifting for me. every time!

    my routine for stretching;

    double leg sitting ham stretch
    single leg sitting ham (one leg bent off to the side with heel to nuts)
    butterflys with feet forward (stretch head to feet)
    butterflys with feet towards nuts (stretch knees to floor)
    sitting splits attempts leaning body side-side-forward
    sitting hams with one leg bent backwards (kinda like a side split)
    laying on back one knee grab
    lay on on knee to stretch gluts (muti directional)
    twist body with outstretched oposide side arm (strech back/chest)
    kneeling lunge split while stretching oposite side lats/abs
    kneeling bent over single legged hams
    tri and shoulder stretch
    abs stretch
    "bowdown" lat/ab stretch
    neck stretches with head on mat
    standing calves
    standing single quad stretches
    done

    sorry, i made up all the names cause i don't know the official names.

    in for stretching techniques.


    only stretching i do is the preperations the police academy offer and thats basically warm-up for the 1.5 mile run:hsd:
