Maybe because my rotators were already aggravated when I started doing that... but it made it worse.

i'm extremely unflexible and i can do it...with a very wide grip. It gets harder as your grip gets narrower.

i can't view the video, but just from reading the first couple of sentences of the description, in order for a person to do that, they would have to be extremely flexible.

from my experience, most people can't do that. and if anything, that will not "cure" 90% of shoulder problems

I didn't think I could do that, but I did haha. I just wonder if it's worth doing.

it's good as a dynamic stretch for the pec/anterior delt...i wouldn't perform them if your shoulder is injured, though

Among other movements, I do something simular to that as part as a warm-up for bench and squats.

this stretch is a little easier on your shoulders if you do them with a miniband instead of a broomstick

Those helped my shoulders feel better. Hockey players have been doing that forever with their sticks in pregame warmups and such.

The flexibility in my shoulders is pathetic! I have to grip the towel so wide, it barely clears my head.

im happy i can get mine straight up. :(

btw stretching to that extreme can actually be bad for you sometimes people (mostly women) are so flexible that they can hyperextend joints without knowing it.
