Last year I got a stress fracture from running too much, it completely healed. I started running again and slowly built up my strength. I've been running pain free 4-5 days a week since March. Out of nowhere, I started getting pain my the same shin (other shin is painfree) that got the stress fracture before, but I don't know if it is a fracture. I can't really find a spot on my leg that hurts pressing down on it, but when I put a lot of weight on that leg, it hurts.

I had a stress fracture in my foot from bootcamp, 6.5 years later it still hurts if i go more than 30 minutes on it...but not THAT bad, just gets swollen. if it feels like you got another one you should get it checked out

Shin splints and stress fractures do NOT feel the same.
