strengthening toes

    i recently read an article on how strengthening toes can be very helpful in increasing jumping ability. However, the article didnt give any excercises to strengthen toes so if anyone has any incite, im much obliged.

    strengthening the arch on your foot will actually strengthen your toes. also working your tibialis anterior (reverse calve raises)

    sprints, sometimes after I do then the bottum of my foot is sore. :dunno:

    spend a day walking on the beach in the sand, that will make the arch of your feet sore.

    put your foot in a bucket of rice and move your toes around

    The muscles are so small that you really don't need much resistance down there, what Ceaze mentioned is a great idea- using sand in the same manner is a good idea.

    u forgot to say cook tha rice afterwards.. having ur foot in it first adds a certain defineable quality to the rice.. might be the toe jam or the fungus ..tastey


    but yeh rice is great for alot of rehab as well.. whether u busted your hand up and are trying to get the grip back or had a stroke or foot ankle toe rehab or strengthening
