Strengthening the Lower Abdomen

    I was doing heavy squats yesterday (for me anyways) and afterwards I felt like I had a hernia. The pain shot all the way down my to my balls. I defiantly strained something. I do decline weighted situps for my abdomen. Any more ideas?

    try some standing cable crunches too.

    Hanging leg raises have substantially helped out the strength of my abdomen.
