Strength Training for a Sport

    So I'm playing hurling for my university (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurling) and just wondering if you guys have any input on specific exercises i can do that'll help me out. The activity seems more to football than soccer (lots of short bursts of maximum energy). I think the biggest muscles groups are legs (obviously), core, and shoulders, since that's where most of the physicality of the game comes from. Thanks for your help, never posted in here before. :wavey:
