i have all of my music stored on my desktop. Is there some way to access my music with my laptop if I am not on the same network. (Example: I have internet accesss at work, can I listen to the music from my desktop computer at home?)
*I use itunes for all of my music

It's not easy to do this normally. I think LogMeIn has a service they offer that will create a VPN from your home network to your office network; you might want to look into that.

Linksys WRT54Gv4 router running DD::WRT and the built-in VPN server. Then use the built-in VPN client in Windows XP and the built-in sharing functionality of iTunes.

although, last time i did this, it took significant time to get it all setup and working right. I did it on a small linux box i had sitting around, not windows. Might be 10x easier
