It's a 240 watt amp driving a 300 wat sub (i think i might upgrade if nobody knows why this is happening)

everyone morning my amp doesn't turn on. if i pull the little fuse on the side of the amp and plug it back in, it'll make a spark then the amp will work. The amp works the entire day regardless of whether i turn the car on and off.

the next morning, it won't turn on again until i pull the fuse and make a spark.

    thanks all!

That's rather wierd. I'd almost guess that the fuse is somehow bad and not making good contact. Have you tried using a different fuse to see if it fixes the problem?

I suggest checking the ground. One thing I've found in my 8 years working with electricity/electronics is that "wierd" problems are usually traced down to a bad ground. You also might want to change the fuse just to eliminate it as the problem. It's also possible that the fuse contacts on the amp are corroded.
