About three weeks ago I pulled a muscle in my left glute doing ass to grass front squats. It hurts near the top outter portion.

The pain is very faint during the day but when I wake up in the morning it feels pretty bad.

The only stretch I've done that helps it is sitting on top of my left leg in a chair and leaning forward. Anyone have any other stretches? I am considering seeing a doctor soon as I've never had a muscle be sore/hurt for this long. :noes:

I rarely stretch after working out so I just started doing leg stretches everynight also and that seems to help too.

    to stretch glutes:
lay on back, flex right hip and knee, put left ankle on right knee and pull right leg close to chest to stretch the gluteals; repeat with other leg

or just regular knee to chest

    thanks this really felt good.

Is there anything else you can do to help a muscle recover? Or will doing some static stretching daily fix it?
