I'm taking a trip to NYC tomorrow and I want to kop some tsl approved stuff. Any one have any suggestions? I definitely want to pick up another pair of raw denim. I'm planning on going to bluegreen in soho, h&m, and maybe buffalo exchange if I can make it to brooklyn. Where do you tsl'ers go when in the city?

For a fantastic sale, you should call up the guys at Soiffer Hasken.

    http://www.soifferhaskin.com/clients.htm

Whenever a high end luxury retailer wants to get rid of excess inventory in NYC, they usually run a huge sale through SoifferHasken and the word gets out by their e-mail lists and word of mouth.

They usually hold the sales in a huge meeting room at Parsons School of Design or FIT in the garment district. Their number is on their website, call them up and see if they have anything interesting going on when you'll be in town.

This is exactly what I did all Saturday morning and afternoon. 90% of the stores are right up TSL's alley. I kopped some nice stuff. :bigthumb:

    Depends..

H&M is cheap and Express can be too. There are so many good stores in SoHo that you're bound to end up with tons of good shit just by browsing the sale items.

My friend's brother was one of the original investors in that store, and he did the store-front window design. I think they used to have a lot of rats running around in a glassed-in area but the Health Dept told them they had to take it out.

H&M has cool stuff but who the heck can fit into their sizes?! That store makes me feel like a fatty, and I'm not.
