Can't wait to try this stuff out tomorrow.
Good stuff, very clear, wet shine. Reapply about every 2 months for the best results.
Not enough time today, gonna do it tomorrow.
Holy fuck this shit is awesome! I could tell it was good the second I started to remove the excess. No residue. This stuff has been the easiest wax to apply I've ever used, and the best looking. How is that possible? If it lasts as long as you say it does I'm hooked.
Here's some bad pictures:
Very nice results. This in one of the waxes that I've wanted to try out but never have. Glad to see you liked the results.............I can really see why!
Holy smokes, that paint looks WET!!! Great job!!
How much was the bottle an how much was in it? There is a Harley dealer just a few minutes from me.
should be less than 20 bucks
That is the paste wax right?
it was $15 or so at my local Harley store.
Water beaded well when I sprayed water on my car for the first time since waxing it today but not after scrubbing and rinsing it off.
WHAT did you wash it with?!?!
eagle one car wash soap
I just did the hood of the wife's Jetta with this stuff. First time using it also. If anyone else is thinking about using this I have 2 recommendations.
1: Don't use your PC to apply it. Really no point anyhow, but I had a hell of a time taking it off when I tried it with my PC. So much so that I wound up just re-polishing the hood and applying by hand because I couldn't get it to look right.
2: Don't use it in direct sunlight!! That sonuvabitch was hidden well behind clouds, and then BLAM, no clouds! That's why only the hood got done. Towards the end of doing the hood in full sun, I had to pretty much wipe it off as I applied it so it would actually come off. I'll be finishing the car tomorrow in the wee hours, so hopefully it goes a little smoother.
thank you captain obvious.
please let us know how it holds up. I just put another coat on yesterday. Looks like I have one more application (3 total) left in the jar.
you inly got 3 applications total out of a jar of s100?
you should get like 50 out of a jar
Holy shit man!! You're not supposed to spread it on like peanut butter on toast!!!! 3 Total applications from one jar tells me you're using waaaayyyyy too heavy of a coat. I barely skimmed the surface of my jar and did 2 coats on the Jetta.
On a sidenote, this is the same Jetta that had the Werkstatt twins applied about a month ago. I figured go with carnauba to deepen the look. I gotta say, the Werkstatt twins look just as good as the S100 on black. Just in case anyone else was skeptical about the acrylics instead of carnauba.
The jar itsself says it holds about 25 applications and I'm assuming that's for a motorcycle (gas tank and fenders). My car has about 50x more surface area than that so, back at you.
I don't know, seems like I'm using it pretty sparingly. Maybe I'll try applying a little less next time but I really don't see how that's possible.
whatever you think...is wrong. You should easily get 20 applications on a car out of that jar
considering you posted this a month ago...
you should probably take what people are saying here openly, since they all have years more experience on you.
You should probably shut the fuck up and quit sucking your moms dick.
I only trust a few people on here like scotwax and a few others who have posted lots of pics and info, proof that they know what they're talking about. For all I know, anyone else could be drving a rusted out 87 tercel. Even with this info, it's just part of the data I enter into my brainframe along with info I get from people irl and my own personal experience to decide what I'm gonna do. I'm fucking 30 years old goddamn it and I've washed and waxed my cars more times than you've jerked off thinking about neil patrick harris. I don't know that much about other aspects of detaling which I'm trying to learn. Who the fuck just blindly trusts anonymous strangers on the internet?
Anywho back to the topic at hand, who fucking cares about how much wax I use? Is it going to make the wax more glossy and durable? The answer is a resounding fucking no. It would just save me a few dollars that's all.
holy shit man, you're using WAAAAAAY too much.
I've done my truck three times and my moms Fourrunner once and I've hardly made a dent in it.
and if you're 30 years old why don't you act like it, rather than throw a tantrum when people try to actually help you out.
