Why is it so hard to stop being lazy? I need to stop wasting so much time, I need help!
can you give us details and examples of what you are having problems with?
You have to ask yourself, do i want to live like a pig for the rest of my life? If the answer is no, then get a get up n go attitude. Don't think about it, put your shoes on and your mind on zero and start jogging. That works for me, the moment you start thinking is the moment you stop doing.
Bolded for truth.
Get a white board and put it on the back of your door in your bedroom so every time you wake up, you have to look at it.
Just keep yourself in line and do what it takes to keep yourself on the right track. No more detours.
GET OFF YOUR ASS THEN.
Last night, it was around 10pm. I don't go to bed until around 6am (work overnights) and I wasn't really in the mood to play any video games. This was a perfect opportunity to study C++ but I was just too lazy to sit there and do it, so instead I wasted time on various forums and on IRC until 3 and just went to bed early.
I do this all the time.
You would more than likely benefit from the teachings of Anthony Robbins.
He talks about why we do what we do and how we can accomplish things in our lives. He has a book called Awaken the Giant Within and you can prolly find it in any public library.
I do this too. I think eventually the frustration at myself will make it impossible to keep doing this, but I hope I'll be able to motivate myself to do these things before life forces me to.
