Stomach fat

    Okay i've lost 23lbs and i'm basically skinny all over except for my lower abs. i still have a roll down there . I'm really skinny everywhere else and can't figure out why its sticky. I'm 5'9-5'10. I run 2 miles a day on the treadmill and am on a 1500 cal,20 fats diet for the past 3 months. I just can't seem to lose that weight and if i lose anymore weight i'l be literally skin and bones.

    I had planned on going to the gym to build muscle after i had lost the weight, but what should i do about that extra roll, i honestly don't think it will go away unless i drop another 10-15 lbs and I DONT WANT THAT. Help please!!

    well do u work out your abs?

    go to the gym and gain a lot of muscle and then u can lose weight again and lean yourself out and that tummy should go away.

    heres my meals basically everyday


    bowl of shreaded wheat(0 fat, 0sugar) w/ 1/2 milk

    Apple

    grilled chicken(1g fat) on a bun

    banana

    breaded pretzels, handful(1g fat)

    One of those extra large pretzels(300cals)(3g fat) or a bull of rice

    breaded pretzels, handful (1g fat)

    Mix and match, that basically what i eat everyday, could i be eating to many carbs??

    That's all you eat? No wonder you're a fricken twig. You're not hleping your body any. Read the stickies about what to eat and how much.

    What are your number? Height/weight/age

    twice a week with crunches, but i really wanted to lose weight first before i did anything.

    i thought you had to lose the weight to uncover muscles, so if i bit up muscle that fat would still be there. I want it gone now really so i know i can always lose it later or not have to worry about having to lose it or how hard it will be to lose it.

    well u also need muscle there for u to be able to see it once you do lose the weight.

    5'9 145 19, i read the stickies, i know i should be eating more, i just wanted to drop it fast and then maintain and eat the right amount of cals.

    Are you doing any cardio to lose the weight? How do you figure you're going to lose your stomach? By eating barely anything?

    From the sticky with the 6meal diet(want to be a boddybuilder, look like one), is that diet high in fat? I wouldn't gain tons of fat with that diet would i ?

    It's high in protein which is verrry good for you and your body needs it to grow. It can not be healthy for your body to be eating jsut pretzels three times a day + 1 small breakfast and 1 small lunch. do you not eat dinner? you need some real food man.

    today i had a pita w/grilled chicken for dinner

    bowl of rice and stir fry

    bowl of fruit loops

    2 apples

    1 banana

    grilled chicken sandwich

    added up to about 1750cal

    Thats a lot better. Heres the thing. You've already lost all this weight, which in reality you should have done by cutting and working out at the same time. Im not an expert in any means, tomorrow more people with more knowledge will tell you whats up, but you should deffinately start working out and getting some lbm on ya.

    Less carbs more protein. Fat won't make you fat, calories will.

    Increase your protein intake and decrease your carb intake, you're eating mostly carbs.

    Switch to different forms of calorie-intensive exercise:
    interval training (sprints, bike, elliptical, jump rope)
    barbell complexes
    bodyweight circuits
    strongman medleys

    Lift weights. Utilize supersets and giant sets.

    im gonna start lifting today, do you recommend the 6meal diet plan thats in the sticky? also is jump roping burn about the same amount of cals?

    Wow. Your diet is shit.


    Heres a place to start:
    1. EAT FUCKING PROTEIN. At minimum, consume 1g for every pound of bodyweight. More is always better.
    2. Drop the shitty cabrs. Your body hates you right now from all those pretzels. Whole wheat, oats, brown rice, etc etc are the type of carbs you need.
    3. Eat some fats. Fat will not make you fat. Eating a dozen in and out burgers and then playing xbox all day will. You need fats.
    4. Lift. You are a skinny ass twig and will always be one if you don't lift. At this rate you're destined to be skinny fat forever. I bet it sucks being 4%bf and having NO visible muscle definition.

    I blame Subway. EAT OUR 12 IN SUB IT HAS LESS FAT THAN THIS LITTLE SLICE OF BUTTER AND THUS IS BETTER AND WILL MAKE YOU THIN.

    I love Subway though.

    Protein all the time (chicken, whey shakes, chicken, more chicken, did i mention eating chicken)

    Less carbs (but not that crazy ass no carb shit, eat carbs but not as much)

    Lift weights, not just crunches and cardio, do the basics at least, Squat, Deadlift, Bench etc.

    Eat Protein and more protein.

    spread out your protein thru the day not all at once.

    (might want to lay off the pretzels a bit lol)

    but that's just my opinion and i'm still fat trying to get lean so i don't know shit and am talking out my ass anyway, but all i do is eat chicken drink whey and have some fruits and veggies mixed in with my meals. (i stay away from carbs more than you need to cause i'm fat)

    to cut fat to see muscle, you 1st have to have muscles to see.
