My friend is selling his red auto 94 twin turbo that has 91 k miles. He just bought a new escalade, so he is not in need the supra anymore. Only problem really is that his vavle seals leak a little and 400 miles a quart of oil is needed. The bluebook vaule is still 20k. The interior is in fair condition. Car is a 3dr including cd, sport roof, leather and most accesories.

He is willing to go as low as 17500 or best offer.

Remember this supra is BONE STOCK. Very rare find.

Dude, go for it..the valve seals are an extremely common problem that I'm sure you already know. How does a Escalade take the place of a TT MKIV though? The similarities are non-existant, but if that's what he's into, then cool. As for an automatic WHY not? You get to stay in boost full time, I know everyone says 6 Speed >* but who cares, if you want a auto and like it go for it..or just swap in a 6 Speed since you're getting a good deal. Anyways get pics if possible, I love those cars haha I'd kill for one...a mint condition RSP of course

has anyone ever experienced a high powered (600+whp) AUTOMATIC supra?

its INSANE. constant pull, never drop out of boost, just burry your ass in the seat from 0-160+.

granted I myself would of course rather have a getrag 6sp, but i have MUCH love for the autos as well and would jump on the opportunity to have either.

thats a great deal if the valvestem issue is the only problem. Also autos are great. I used to have a 6spd and now have a built auto with a 4k highstall. The car is extremely fun to drive especially when your single turbo :naughty:

If you need a quart of oil every 400 miles, then valve stem seals is probably not the issue.

  17. I totally agree. That car's not worth more than about 14 or 15k. Its the lowest valued color combination and automatic. If he's gonna post pics of a car he might want to clean the car up a little. That engine pic looks horrible.

I haven't checked in a while. Are Supra prices coming down out of the stratosphere? I've never recalled seeing a JZA80 for anything less than $20k or so.

you obviously know NOTHING. Since i have NO idea about how much headwork on a supra costs, price it first then work a price with him. kbb.com the car first then minus the money it'll cost for headwork and you'll have your idea.

I wouldn't say that low, NAs with 90k miles are running that much, but I think something may be wrong with the engine.

let me correct a few people here.
the 6 speed stock can handle more power that the stock auto box in a supra..
but a BUILT auto in a supra will get better times than a 6 speed on a drag strip..

personally its 6 speed all the way for me as i have an interest in circuit and track racing..

    good luck with your sale..
