    Jesus christ, no wonder my Z with the 17"s feels so much fleeter of foot.

    The Ray's wheels on the Track model weigh 10lbs LESS per WHEEL!

    my mustang definitely feels a lot slower when i traded my 17s for 18s :(

    but it looks so much better

    The key is to spend $2500 to get lightweight wheels that look better and are lighter.

    Then again, I think my days of blowing thousands of dollars on aftermarket crap is over.

    I know a guy who had some ultralite wheels on his subaru. Now he has new wheels because two of them cracked from the shitty ass roads in michigan.

    when i took the 19" challenges off, and replaced the 17" stockers... it scared the fuck out of me when i banged second the first time, without thinking. got so fucking slideways.

    Funny this thread was created. I actually took off my heavy ass 18" touring rims last night, and mounted some even heavier 19" wheels with wider tires. :)

    thats probably because your Volks were wider, had more tire hitting the ground?
