I ordered a MOE with mil-spec tube package for a rifle I sold.

Something seemed to be "off" a bit, tho. The stock did not adjust smoothly, it would stick in certain spots. Could be the stock, could be the tube.

I just know that on my CTR and tube, the adjusting is very smooth.

Maybe the MOE just needed to be broken in, maybe I just needed to oil it a bit... I don't know. I was in a hurry as the package arrived the same day I sold that rifle.

  4. Is all that stuff actually in stock?

I'm going to briefly hijack on subject

I can't seem to find out a definite answer if RRA A4 uppers are cut for M4 feed ramps or not. Anyone know for sure? I want to buy the one PK has in stock, but want to make sure first.

  19. Honestly, the M4 cuts don't matter. I'd never pass up an upper I wanted because it didn't have the M4 cuts. That being said, A4 upper generally means it has the ramps cut.

Thanks, that is what I thought.

From what I've read if the barrel doesn't have the ramps cut then you shouldn't use an upper with the extended feed ramps cut. Since the barrel I'm going to use doesn't have M4 ramps, I wanted an upper without ramps cut either.

  22. Correct. You can use a barrel with the cuts and a receiver without the cuts though.
