Got an integra and the clutch is very stiff.. it is not easy or fun to drive. someone told me its a performance clutch and suppose to be like that but i dont believe it. the clutch release point is kind more high than normal cars and you dont have any space to play with (easy to stall the car on first). and whats weird is i could start the car without pressing in the clutch on nuetral. do i just have a bad clutch and need to replace it or its just a performance clutch. i like loose clutch with some "free play" and the car to move when you just release the clutch a little for easy parking. i have to park a lot here and its a big pain in the ass with a sensitive clutch like that.

is the car modded?..a stock ITR clutch will take up to 250whp so if you have less than that then call up your honda dealer...it's about a 4 hour job to change it.

The clutch on my DSM engages less than an inch off the floor.

I have a three puck stage 2 clutch, it's really stiff but I love it. I would go for a racing clutch but I have to use mine as a daily driver so I needed something streetable.

It's not (entirely) the clutch that's at fault, the clutch travel/engagement point is just screwed up. Take it somewhere to get it adjusted. However, it will still engage just as quickly, just not way up at the top.

Honda clutches are hydraulicly actuated, and are not adjustable.

    edit:unless it is a pre-93 integra:)
