I think we could use an article on how to prepare for a meet. What to expect, what to eat/bring, workouts leading up to the meet, etc.

I was looking through the archives and didn't see anything addressing this. I think it would be a valuable addition.

I've got some stuff I can post on my home computer, unless the other PL'ers get to it first....

I'll be happy to accept anything you can provide. I've only been to one meet and I only stuck around for the squats. This will all be new to me.

Cool. That'll help my pathetic bench a bit.

And just to confirm, if I weigh 235, I'm in the 220 class, not the 242 class, right?

no, if you weigh in at 235 you will compete in the 242 class.....it's actually 100-110kg's so 220.5-242.25 or some shit...

This is very true. I know I won't be competitive - I'm just trying to get my feet wet.
