    Hey guys..

Steam is getting ready for it's release this month.. not sure what date though. Anyone here know? I have tried some digging around but the only thing I can find is the month of it's release and of course, it's April.

Anyone know if the games what are going to be support for Mac OS will still work on the same license or will we have to purchase a new one. Say.. one for PC and one for Mac OS?

    Thanks!

    Beta is here:

    IN for date

Also I heard that saves will be interchangeable, so I assume you only have to buy it once :dunno:

As long as games are tied to your Steam account it won't matter if you play it on PC or Mac, you only have to pay for it once.

:eek3: I bought Dragon Age: Origins for PC over Steam, that would be AWESOME if I could get the Mac version for no extra charge as well :o Same with Braid.

I only know of this working for Valve games. Any other company selling their games on steam can probably choose if they want to do this too or not (wouldn't count on it)

It's official, Valve's digital distribution service Steam is coming to Mac, and bringing Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and the Half-Life series

So basically Mac users don't have to deal with Boot camp or whatever it's called (switching platforms)?!

Yeah it's pretty fail that the entire PC gaming industry didn't each individually recode their games to work on a Mac
