I like to do 2 body parts per day for my workout routine, with about 2-3 mintues per rest between each set. It seems to always take me about 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. I heard though for my body type endomorph, this is very bad and is hurting my progression? Im skinny and have been eating alot, and have seen great results, but i wish they were better. I have been working out for a year, and im happy with my progress but i think it could be better.

2 hours of lifting, wow i'm done lifting in an hour or less, then on to cardio

    # of reps you do per set?

    # of sets you do per excersize?

maybe go heavier and do less reps, also 3 minute rest times is pretty long imo

My rest times are 90 seconds and that's longer than most peoples I think.

drop rest down to 90 seconds. that is what I have seen as the most reccomended. Higher weight, less reps maybe?

i do 60-90 seconds between sets on hypertrophy exercises (3x8, 2x10, etc) and on "medium" 5x5 exercises.... on heavy day where I'm trying to reach my 5RM or 1RM I usually wait around 3 minutes between sets, but only on the last couple because the first few are just warmups.
